This one-day activation is an opportunity to bring the vision of an Indigenous-led Gathering Place to life through culture, community, music, storytelling, and celebration. The event will take place across several spaces in the neighbourhood, including ContainR Art Park and Alexandra Centre, and will feature:
Cultural Showcase and family-friendly programming
Indigenous artisan market featuring more than 40 vendors
Storytelling, teachings, and community connection
Evening Indigenous music showcase
Opportunities to learn more about the vision for a permanent Indigenous Gathering Place in Calgary
